Adolescents

The clinical team at Johnstown Heights Behavioral Health offers behavioral treatment adolescents in Colorado.

In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing world, adolescent mental health has become an increasingly important issue. As young people navigate the complexities of growing up, they often face a unique set of challenges that can impact their mental well-being. The pressures of academic expectations, social media, and rapidly shifting social dynamics can contribute to feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation. Additionally, adolescents are in a critical developmental stage, making them more vulnerable to emotional disturbances and mental health disorders. Addressing these issues requires a comprehensive approach that includes awareness, education, and accessible mental health services.

Quality Adolescent Care is now available at Johnstown Heights

Inpatient Care for Adolescent Boys and Girls

Helping an adolescent get the treatment they need for mental health issues can be challenging. Parents and caregivers may find the process of seeking help to be overwhelming, not only because of concern for the adolescent, but because of their own emotions as well.

Johnstown Heights Behavioral Health makes this process easier by offering psychiatric services specifically designed for individuals between the ages of 13 and 17. Our inpatient treatment options are available for female adolescents who are admitted both voluntarily or involuntarily and includes immediate assessment, diagnosis, and rapid stabilization of acute psychiatric symptoms.
