– Hiring RN’s for all shifts now!

– Sign On Bonus $10,000.00 for Full time status (36+ hours a week)

– Sign On Bonus $5000.00 for Part-time status (24-30 hours week)

– PRN status – minimum of four shifts per month

– 12 hour shifts

– Shift differential pay between $2.00 to $3.00 depending on schedule

Johnstown Heights is a 92-bed behavioral health facility in Johnstown, CO offering mental health and substance use disorder treatment programs for adults. Our clients receive individualized care from professionals in an atmosphere of respect, non-judgment, and compassion.

We are seeking a talented and compassionate Registered Nurse to help us with our mission to serve others. Our facility can provide an opportunity for you to improve lives and continue your professional development.

POSITION SUMMARY

Assesses patient/client medical needs and develops care plans, in conjunction with a Medical Doctor and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Delivers nursing care, monitors treatment, and administers medication to individuals with varying levels of mental health disorders and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities, in accordance with established nursing practices and guidelines. May provide direction to LPNs, CNAs or other medical support staff. RN licensure required.

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a registered nurse in a behavior health care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Colorado State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification, successful completion of Handle with Care (HWC) training, including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint, prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Pass a medication administration exam prior to administering any medications and complete a basic age specific competency exam and age specific training within 30 days of employment.
